"This is by far the most amazing rental house I have ever visited. I fell in love just by the pictures but to my surprise it exceeded my expectations. We needed a place to get away but still had shopping nearby. The river, pool, hot tub and home were immaculate and everyone was entertained the whole time. The kids were not begging to go spend money and we were able to sit on the deck in the mornings with a perfect view to get our work out of the way before heading down the pool. Patricia is accommodating and takes pride in her properties. You can tell she genuinely cares if you enjoy your time. We are already planning our next trip. Thank you, Patricia, for making this birthday week so special for us."

"Excellent place to stay with family, lot of stuff for family to enjoy & relax, & hot tub is awesome Property was clean & very nice organized, they have everything that was listed on the website, even some stuff they had that we had never seen at other vacation rentals before! We are a group of 15 people & every one enjoy the stay a lot. All of us are planning to come back later. Property manager was awesome - she replied promptly and very helpful. This is a Very good place! I will refer it to all my friends & family. We will absolutely book again! Thank you very much for such a very nice mini vacation!"

"I stayed at this property Halloween weekend 2020. This was the same weekend MS and LA were affected with a hurricane. Due to the hurricane my original property was out of power. Being that I live in LA and was out of power also the property owner let my guest and I stay at another property she owned. I was extremely surprised and grateful she did not just write me off. She went out of her way to accommodate my guest and I. It was a great property and I would defiantly go back to stay there again!"

"What a wonderful getaway! Plenty of room for my family of 12! I can’t say enough how great our stay was. Patricia was so very helpful and went beyond to make sure our stay was superb! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and still be together. Watching the kids swim and having all my family with me made my year! I can go on and on so let me just end with this; I’ll definitely be staying there whenever I’m ready for another getaway! It’s become my go-to place!"

"We rent through VRBO all the time. About three times a year. This was a vacation to celebrate 5 years cancer free for me. It included my husband and myself, my children and their spouses and grandchildren. Patricia was so helpful adding another day and her communication was outstanding. The house was a home. We felt so comfortable. The pool was where the grandchildren played, laughed and squealed. It was a perfect place to make memories to last a lifetime. After 24 surgeries for breast cancer, I was ready for happiness and I found it this week at this home with my family that made my fight worth it all. We ended up having a tropical storm come in and we had to leave a day early. The waters were flooding the town. Patricia and her business partner came and got us by Razor and a trailer. My grandchildren were in heaven. This was by far our favorite vacation rental. Highly recommend for an enjoyable getaway."

"This was a great river house. Kitchen was fully stocked (not just a couple pots and pans and plates, but pretty much everything you had at home. It was nice to be both off the beaten path and not all up in the tourist areas as we like our downtime and peace and quiet. yet also close enough that when we did want to be, we could be on Beach Blvd and any tourist or nightlife location we wanted within minutes. It was also nice that every member of our group had an actual bed. We have a group of 9 and usually a couple end up on air mattresses. Should we visit this area again, we would stay here."

"We traveled from Wilmington NC to Gulfport for a family wedding and sort of reunion. We have a very large family and each family unit rented a different house. As you can imagine we all hung out together at different houses taking turns hosting dinner and visiting. Our host Patricia was amazing from the first message I sent her to inquire about the house. She was always responsive and went above and beyond to help meet all our needs. I sent her a very long list of possible visitors (all family) and even some extra overnight guests (cousin sleep over night) and she was so understanding and loved that we had such a big family. We had a few hiccups on arrival and Patricia responded immediately and sent a maintenance gentleman over to help right away. She truly cared that we had a great experience! Ms. Patricia and her team were very responsive and caring all through our visit. The space on the property was amazing for family! Located in a very quiet peaceful area down a dead-end road (absolutely no through traffic), surrounded by nature. There is the pool, hot tub, pool table, games, fire pit, grill area and a great pavilion area right down on the river...it was fabulous! We rented kayaks from Chris at South Mississippi Kayak Rentals. That was the most inexpensive kayak rental I have ever done and he delivered and picked up for free. The river front property is PERFECT for kayaks and teens spent so much time on the river. A great time was had by all, we hope we can return. Thanks so much for everything Patricia!!"

"Loved the property. Well maintained and private. It’s obvious the owners put a lot of time, care, and thought into the home. Loved fishing in the river and just sitting out there at night We loved Gulfport!"

"We booked the house for our annual youth trip. We have a small youth group and generally pick an area to explore and do a Bible study with it. The layout of the house was fantastic and fit our needs perfectly. The bunk beds held all the boys on the trip, the living room was spacious enough for our bible study, the long dining table was perfect for family style dinners and for munching on a mess of crawfish! The kids enjoyed the river access, pool, Foosball table, and pool table. Check in and check out is the smoothest I've ever experienced. Patricia is a host that really has it all together. Will definitely be booking future trips here."

"My family recently stayed at this property and we are very impressed! The owner was always available and answered all my questions even during our stay. The property was very clean and had plenty of room for a party of 10 people. We really enjoyed the pool, the hot tub, and access to the river for fishing and boating. "Amazing and exactly as advertised, great price for the spacious room provided Would highly recommend to anyone looking to book a getaway and in fact, we're looking forward to going back again. Property was clean, in a quiet neighborhood, stocked with a lot of necessities and amenities. Owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with prior to trip and during stay. She always responded quickly. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The property was spacious with room for all family members and everyone had a really great time. Easy to find and close to beach and outlets but secluded enough for a relaxing time. And really great price!"

"12th annual guys fantasy football weekend and this accommodation couldn’t have been better! Very, very spacious living quarters and tons of outdoor space. The pool was perfect on a hot summer day and even taking swims in the Biloxi River was nice. Patricia is top notch and makes sure everything is covered. We will definitely be booking again!"

As a School director, I used this property as a location to host our Leadership Retreat, which comfortably suited our plans. Every part of the house felt as though it were crafted specifically to meet our needs. To be quite honest, the fantastic description of the property does not do it justice. "This house was even BETTER than advertised! We had a party of 13, including several 20-something young adults, and everyone had a great time. Anything we could have wanted was available: Pool, Ping Pong, Basketball, Pool, Hot Tubmultiple TVs, great deck, kitchen and bar. Casinos are just a short Uber ride away, also great fishing and golfing. We plan to return in the near future for a family reunion. Patricia was great to work with. We highly recommend this home for your next vacation!"

"This house was exceptional! Everything you could possibly need and more!! Everything was in perfect condition with more space and amenities than we could have imagined! Every bedroom was comfortable and the common areas were perfect for our friend’s getaway weekend. We did not leave the property because we had everything we needed. "This year was our golf groups 20th annual trip, we've stayed at many VRBO properties all over the country, Pat's GERH top's them all! Our group likes to cook, drink beer, play golf, if that's your group... no need to look anywhere else, this place is Nirvana! The kitchen / dining area / bar area / rec room...you won't believe! Just listen to Pat on her rec's for food (Capt Al's $3.00 a dozen, happy hour Oysters), groceries etc. and your good. We'll be back!"

"This place has it all... multiple deck levels, tons of things to do (poker, pool, hot tub, ping-pong tables, and basketball goal), charcoal and gas grills, access to the river with a fire pit... The rooms are well accommodated with up-to-date furnishings and oversize appliances. It was really easy to get to using Google Maps and helped with quick access to Gulfport and Biloxi spots. The owners were accommodating and communicative in all parts of our stay. We would definitely rent it again without hesitation!!!"

"My extended family stayed at the Great Escape River House over the Thanksgiving holiday for 6 nights and 7 days. The online booking process was easy and the owner was always responsive. Upon arrival the check-in process was also very smooth. My family could eat together at the large U-shaped Island that seated 15-17 comfortably, at the large dining room table, and outdoors at any of the many eating areas below the house or on the deck. Kids stayed busy the entire 7-days with all the outdoor activities and amenities like basketball, swimming, hot tub, Ping-Pong, and just running around having a really good time. The house was stocked with glassware, flatware, pots, pans, plates, pitchers, etc. There was nothing in the kitchen you did not have, the only think we had to bring was a deep fryer and very large pots for a shrimp boil outside. We could move around in the large kitchen without running into each other while cooking and cleaning. We really enjoyed staying at the Great Escape River House and would highly recommend it to any large group for their next trip. This house is phenomenal!"

"Sadly, our reason for renting was for my father’s funeral held in Biloxi. But we ended up having a joyous family reunion celebrating his life. The house was central to this and was absolutely perfect. The pool table and bar area were congregating rooms for family near and far to congregate and tell stories. The kitchen was gigantic. All the cooks worked together with ease and the pool and hot tub were fantastic for the kids. Everyone had tons of space. The house was clean and well laid out. I would highly recommend! The host was wonderful with detailed communications. We had no problem at all."

"We stumbled upon this property by happenstance and are so glad we did! 12 of us stayed for four nights and had a long weekend to remember. There was more than enough space for everyone to spread out and have privacy as needed. The kitchen was huge and well-appointed to cook meals for a large group (we didn’t eat out once). The bar area/main room is the perfect hang out space. Billiards, five tv’s and cards/dice available to play games to your hearts content. The pool and hot tub were very clean and a major bonus for our trip. The deck space was large and had plenty of seating to enjoy the sunshine. Aside from some planned golf and a trip to the grocery store, there was no reason to leave once we arrived. Everything we needed was right there. There was some unprecedented flooding on our final day but Patricia and Grady went out of their way to ensure we were safe and helped us get extra food and beverages for our unexpected extended stay. Grady also helped arrange for a flatbed to help get our vehicles out of flood water. If we had to get stuck anywhere, this was the house to do it! We enjoyed some extra time together and will surely have stories to tell for years to come. Thanks to our hosts for the great communication and hospitality! If you’re looking for a fun getaway with friends in the Gulfport area, this is it!"

"The house was exactly as described. We checked in very smoothly even with the roads flooded they were able to accommodate us which was incredibly helpful. Patricia was responsive throughout the entire trip which was very nice as the place is so large the lights can be a bit confusing. "My Husband turned 70 and loves to shoot pool so I picked this home to celebrate his 70th. We had 20 people staying with us. 40 in total visiting for a party. Everyone called this house a mini mansion. The kitchen is exquisite I could cook in there all day long. The Host (Patricia)was awesome!Communicated all the way made sure we were comfortable. I feel like we were friends. She treated me with the utmost respect - thank you to her. Everyone had nothing to say but good things. Best place ever for large groups. February 17th -24th worth every penny. I would definitely stay again"

"Such a great experience! This is an amazing property! The location is great and very convenient while still being far enough removed to be quiet. It has absolutely everything you could possibly want. Lots of living area, super spacious kitchen, tons of cabinets, amazing separate bar area, back-saving elevator complete with a rolling cart, wonderful floor plan (esp. sleeping arrangement) for large groups, beautiful pool area, lots of towels, terrific hot tub, so many washers & dryers, beautiful surrounding grounds, and my list could go on and on. The owner is extremely easy to deal with and very quick to respond and help with anything we asked about. I cannot possibly recommend this property enough! We definitely plan on returning!"

"This is an amazing house! We had the wedding on the dock and it was beautiful!! Initially we’re going to do everything outside but the house was so nice and fit 45 people easily and did not feel crowded. We slept 18 at the house and were all comfortable. The kitchen was gorgeous!! Had several handicap people and the elevator was nice. Patricia was very responsive to any questions. Some people fished and some sat by the fire at night. Thanks for making my daughter Mississippi wedding such a beautiful experience!"

"Wow! THIS PLACE HAS IT ALL! The pool area is the BOMB! We spent 80% of our waking time out here and enjoyed every minute. Between the Hot Tub, great seating areas, Direct TV with ALL the channels at pool side, outside kitchen under cover, views of the pond & spectacular sunsets, it was the BEST! Something we weren't expecting was swimming pool had a tanning ledge. We had 2 toddlers that really enjoyed this area of the pool. The furnishings were top notice. The Kitchen, on the 2nd floor, has everything you could want in a fully equipped kitchen. I hate staying in those houses that say they can sleep 20+ people but only have 8 forks, one skillet, etc. This place is equipped to feed a small army – From cooking items, to utensils, plates, and more! There are multiple places to gather in the house, we found when we weren't hanging out by the pool, we were mostly in the Game room, enjoyed the Pool Table. We will be back next year!!"

"This place is AMAZING! Furnishings are top notice. We slept like babies - Mattresses were so comfortable! The bedrooms had room darkening curtains; I can’t understate how rare this is in a vacation rental.... The bedrooms were perfect for sleeping in late. I hate to admit it but a couple of us had some late nights in the Game Room playing pool. Which was great! It’s in the house, climate controlled, but in its own room, with a closing door, away from the bedrooms. We closed the doors and no matter how loud we got, didn’t bother anyone sleeping. We knew when we booked that the house was 2 stories and would be a challenge for one of the guys (bad knees). Turns out he had no reason to even climb the stairs. We entered at ground level, under the carport and with all the 1st floor had to offer, there was no reason to go upstairs. Bedrooms on 1st floor, with a couple of bathrooms, including a walk-in shower, laundry room, den, game room, refrigerator, and more, all on this floor ~ the only thing missing was the full kitchen. Our group was so large, ½ of us ate downstairs and it was no problem bringing his food down to him. Patricia mentioned they are adding a kitchenette on this lower level, so anyone mobility challenged won't have a reason to head upstairs. The outside entertainment area was perfect! The kids loved feeding the ducks over the fence. We were really glad there was a fence separating the kids from the pond! Great feature! The pond views were a great plus. The upstairs Kitchen had everything you could want & the outside cooking / entertainment area offered tons as well including a full size refrigerator. We can’t wait to return in the summer to really enjoy the swimming pool. I highly recommend this holiday home! There are so many areas to spread out; it is perfect for everyone! We'll be back!! The outdoor kitchen pool / hot tub area was beautiful, but unfortunately it rained, so we didn't use it. We will definitely come back again! Great host! Very responsive!"

Everything you could want in a fully equipped kitchen not only a fully equipped Kitchen on the main floor but there is also a kitchenette on the lower level. If you've got someone in your group who can't climb stairs this house could work for your mobility challenged friend. The only thing they may want to do upstairs that they can't downstairs is have access to the upstairs kitchen. There are 2 huge living areas on the lower floor, so as long as someone is willing to bring food down, there is no reason for a mobility challenged person to go upstairs. I highly recommend this holiday home! There are so many areas to spread out it perfect for everyone! We’ll be back!! Thank you Patricia for providing us this amazing stay!!"

We grilled lunch near the river and swam, and at night we hung out near the pool or on the upper deck playing card games. "Great house for a large group! The house was really great for our numbers which were 6 adults and 7 children. All of the beds were comfortable, especially since so many kids were sleeping in the double bunk room. The property owner was prompt in addressing all concerns. We had some bad weather and rain and initially we had issues connecting to the Wi-Fi but Patricia assisted and stayed on the phone with while we reset the router. The owner was also made aware of an issue with the oven heating and a new one was installed promptly during our stay without it causing much inconvenience as the service was prompt and quick. We did enjoy the property, the grounds and trails were really fun around the river area. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub as we spent most our time there. It’s a great house for kids and they had an absolute blast with no shortage of entertainment. The house was well stocked with everything you would need and seemed very well maintained. We would definitely re-visit if we ever needed to sleep a large group again!"

We felt so comfortable. The pool was where the grandchildren played, laughed and squealed. It was a perfect place to make memories to last a lifetime. After 24 surgeries for breast cancer I was ready for happiness and I found it this week at this home with my family that made my fight worth it all. We ended up having a tropical storm come in and we had to leave a day early. The waters were flooding the town. Patricia and her business partner came and got us by Razor and a trailer. My grandchildren were in heaven. This was by far our favorite vacation rental. Highly recommend for an enjoyable getaway."

"Great space for family gatherings!! We traveled from Wilmington NC to Gulfport for a family wedding and sort of reunion. We have a very large family and each family unit rented a different house. As you can imagine we all hung out together at different houses taking turns hosting dinner and visiting. Our host Patricia was amazing from the first message I sent her to inquire about the house. She was always responsive and went above and beyond to help meet all our needs. I sent her a very long list of possible visitors (all family) and even some extra overnight guests (cousin sleep over night) and she was so understanding and loved that we had such a big family. We had a few hiccups on arrival and Patricia responded immediately and sent a maintenance gentleman over to help right away. She truly cared that we had a great experience! Ms. Patricia and her team were very responsive and caring all through our visit. The space on the property was amazing for family! Located in a very quiet peaceful area down a dead end road (absolutely no through traffic), surrounded by nature. There is the pool, hot tub, pool table, games, fire pit, grill area and a great pavilion area right down on the river...it was fabulous! We rented kayaks from Chris at South Mississippi Kayak Rentals. That was the most inexpensive kayak rental I have ever done and he delivered and picked up for free. The river front property is PERFECT for kayaks and teens spent so much time on the river. A great time was had by all, we hope we can return. Thanks so much for everything Patricia!!"

It was nice to be both off the beaten path and not all up in the tourist areas as we like our downtime and peace and quiet. yet also close enough that when we did want to be, we could be on Beach Blvd and any tourist or nightlife location we wanted within minutes. It was also nice that every member of our group had an actual bed. We have a group of 9 and usually a couple end up on air mattresses. Should we visit this area again, we would stay here."

"The Perfect Answer to Social Distancing. In a time of sheer craziness with the Coronavirus, this was the perfect great getaway for our immediate family. We brought everything, so there was no need to go to any stores, though there were plenty of places where we could pick up anything that we may have forgotten. The common areas are very spacious and easily accommodated us with plenty of room to hang out. We never ran out of things to do from pool/hot tub-sitting, to playing pool, ping pong, corn hole, and basketball. We had a great time cooking out and sitting by the fire pit which provided ample room for all. I highly recommend for large groups under normal circumstances, but it is also fabulous right now for social distancing with a smaller group. We look forward to going back!"

"Great Getaway in Gulfport! We stumbled upon this property by happenstance and are so glad we did! 12 of us stayed for four nights and had a long weekend to remember. There was more than enough space for everyone to spread out and have privacy as needed. The kitchen was huge and well-appointed to cook meals for a large group (we didn’t eat out once). The bar area/main room is the perfect hang out space. Billiards, five tv’s and cards/dice available to play games to your hearts content. The pool and hot tub were very clean and a major bonus for our trip. The deck space was large and had plenty of seating to enjoy the sunshine. Aside from some planned golf and a trip to the grocery store, there was no reason to leave once we arrived. Everything we needed was right there. There was some unprecedented flooding on our final day but Patricia and Grady went out of their way to ensure we were safe and helped us get extra food and beverages for our unexpected extended stay. Grady also helped arrange for a flatbed to help get our vehicles out of flood water. If we had to get stuck anywhere, this was the house to do it! We enjoyed some extra time together and will surely have stories to tell for years to come. Thanks to our hosts for the great communication and hospitality! "Perfect for large groups! The Great Escape River House was the perfect place for us. Our family - parents, three adult children and their spouses, grandkids and great grandkids that ranged in age from 5 to 35, and three dogs that go with us everywhere - wanted a place where we could all get together. We found the Great Escape River House and it was perfect! There was lots of room. The 17 of us each had our own space but were able to connect with each other using the available amenities. Some of us would be in the pool while others were playing pool. Some of us would play basketball while others were having a ball in the hot tub. There is literally a tv in every room - even the bathrooms - so no one was "forced" to watch old westerns with Grumps! While the house is located on the river, and not too far from the beach, we were too busy enjoying the property that we really didn't venture off too far. The kitchen is very spacious and well stocked, allowing us to easily cook meals together without tripping over each other. The elevator was a life saver! It was appreciated not only by those that have mobility issues but by the younger, able-bodied ones that were tasked with loading/unloading duties. There were some signs of wear - a previous wine spill on the carpet, a few throw pillows with pulls, an askew toilet paper holder - but that just made us all the more comfortable with being in someone else's house! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the A/C worked great even with the June weather of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The entire family was very pleased with the house and we're looking forward to booking again in the future."

Loved the amenities of this house but did not get to really enjoy due to outside obligations! Wish we had a few more days! The only suggestion would be to maybe make handicap accessible. I would have loved to be able to invite my wheelchair bound Aunt! We were a little intimidating by the Rental Agreement, but after meeting our host, Patricia, we realize we were going to have a great stay! She was very helpful & always a phone call away!"

We arrived in Gulf Port a day earlier than we thought we would and they allowed us to check in early. It was a blessing. It has absolutely everything you could possibly want. Lots of living area, super spacious kitchen, tons of cabinets, amazing separate bar area, back-saving elevator complete with a rolling cart, wonderful floor plan (esp. sleeping arrangement) for large groups, beautiful pool area, lots of towels, terrific hot tub, so many washers & dryers, beautiful surrounding grounds, and my list could go on and on. The owner is extremely easy to deal with and very quick to respond and help with anything we asked about. I cannot possibly recommend this property enough! We definitely plan on returning!"

Initially we’re going to do everything outside but the house was so nice and fit 45 people easily and did not feel crowded. We slept 18 at the house and were all comfortable. The kitchen was gorgeous!! Had several handicap people and the elevator was nice. Patricia was very responsive to any questions. Some people fished and some sat by the fire at night. Thanks for making my daughter Mississippi wedding such a beautiful experience!"
